Jan. 15, 2021 - From January 11 to 14, CES, the world's largest electronic exhibition, was changed to be held online for the first time in 54 years. The number of exhibitors in this year’s CES has shrunk from more than 4000 in the past to more than 2000. Affected by the epidemic situation in the United States and the suppression of Chinese enterprises by the United States, a large number of Chinese enterprises are absent.
According to South Korean media reports, among the 1940 enterprises participating in the exhibition, there are only 204 Chinese enterprises, 85% less than the 1368 in 2020. Previously, many Chinese sanitary enterprises and practitioners went to Las Vegas to attend CES.
In addition to CES, KBIS, the largest and most professional kitchen and bathroom exhibition in North America originally scheduled to be held in Florida from February 9 to 11, 2021, has also cancelled the offline exhibition and changed to online digital exhibition, and registered all NKBA members free of charge.
Affected by the global epidemic, many exhibitions in the world have been cancelled or postponed, and the online and offline mixed mode of IMM Cologne originally scheduled to be held from January 20 to 23, 2021 has to be cancelled. Before that, the organizer still insisted on its plan to hold the furniture exhibition in early 2021.
Messe Frankfurt announced in September 2020 that the Frankfurt International Exhibition Center will not hold any physical trade exhibition between January and March 2021.
In China, due to the impact of epidemic prevention and control, the 17th Nan'an Plumbing Pump Valve and Fire - Fighting Equipment Fair, originally scheduled to be held in Nan'an, Fujian Province from February 14 to 16, 2021, will be postponed to may 3-5, 2021.
